Strong Local Network

When you work with a RE/MAX agent, you have the support of a company with strong name recognition and expertise in the local real estate market. Our Salt Lake office was founded in 1993 while our newer offices in West Jordan and Draper opened in 2004. We have over 100 sales associates working in these markets.

Our sales associates are dedicated to full-time careers in the real estate industry – something that separates us from most other real estate companies in the Salt Lake Valley. A full-time commitment translates to greater expertise and availability to our customers.

Our agents are educated. We have more Certified Residential Specialists (CRS) than any other company in the Salt Lake area.

Our sales associates are also experienced. The average practicing years of a RE/MAX agent: 18 years versus a national average of 3.5 years.

And last, but not least, our agents are productive. The average number of transactions per year for a RE/MAX sales associate is 24.5, compared to a Salt Lake average of 2.9. In 2002, RE/MAX was ranked the third largest firm in Utah based on transactions at our Salt Lake office only. The other two companies’ rankings were based on transactions completed at all of their Utah locations.

Our residential services include first-time homebuyers, new construction, investment properties and relocations. Our commercial services include office, retail, industrial and multi-family properties. We are also experienced in land development. And our in-house mortgage company allows our clients the added convenience of completing the paperwork that comes with the purchase of a home.

Our marketing department is renowned for its level of service. We have a comprehensive in-house marketing staff that provides the expertise and professionalism required to help your RE/MAX agent determine the best tools for selling your home in a timely fashion. These include virtual tours, open houses, full-color photo layouts, Homes Illustrated magazine features and newspaper ads.

Real Estate Maximums

RE/MAX was founded in 1973 in Denver, Colorado. Upset with the bad name that poorly trained novices and casual part-timers were giving the real estate profession, Dave Linger started the company with the philosophy that he would only hire full-time, experienced professionals. His goal was to create a company where homebuyers and sellers could walk into any office in any market, confident that they would receive a level of exceptional service that a transaction of such magnitude demands.
What began as “a pad of paper and a dream” is now a global real estate franchise network that has spread across 51 countries, eight territories, and six continents. Dave’s company philosophy is branded in the name itself; RE/MAX stands for “real estate maximums."

National Reputation

Entrepreneur magazine’s Franchise 500 report, published in January 2004, ranked RE/MAX as the “Best of the Best” and “Fastest-Growing” real estate services franchise. In the overall survey, RE/MAX was in the top 20 out of 500. RE/MAX was the only real estate organization on the list of the 30 fastest-growing franchise systems. And RE/MAX was the highest-ranking real estate franchise among both “Low Cost Franchises” and “America’s Top Global Franchises”. This is the 11th year for RE/MAX to be so prominently featured in the annual report – the industry’s oldest and most comprehensive ranking of franchise systems.

Giving Back

Our dedication to the communities we serve is demonstrated by our ongoing commitment to the Children’s Miracle Network at Primary Children’s Medical Center, the premier children’s healthcare facility in the Intermountain West.
